The ice was out on West Port Lake this morning as I passed it on my way to work. It could have gone out yesterday, the 30th. I didn't work yesterday, so I didn't go past it. It has been very windy for a couple of days, so I am sure that helped to break up the ice. This is just over 2 weeks earlier than ice -out last year.
