It was a cool, gray day, and somewhat windy. We heard the sound of many robins chirping, and when my daughter and I went outside to see what the noise was from, we saw a huge group of robins all over the grounds, in trees, on telephone wires, in a holly bush, on a fence, so many places. We were able to use a digital camera to capture pictures and some film of these beautiful birds, and felt honored to see them up close. Our cats observed from inside our house, and were fascinated to see the birds eating berries and finding worms. The snow has melted a few days prior to this, the ground was soft, and it was obviously a pit stop for the birds on their way home.
