I was pulling some weeds from my flowerbeds when a Monarch butterfly flew down right in front of me. It was darting around and landing briefly on several of the weeds and plants in the bed. After my sitting still and watching this for approx. 8-10 minutes, it flew away. This all happened from 10" to l-1/2 feet in front of me.
