Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/09/2010

Number: 1

Several students at our school, Irving Elementary, in Cleburne, Texas have reported the first sightings of 12 adult Monarch butterflies. We have been studying the migration all year and this is the first time we have actually seen them. All of these butterflies were observed eating nectar and flitting around flowers. We are so excited about being able to actually see our first Monarchs for this years 4th graders!
