Bald Eagle

Date: 04/12/2010

Number: 1

First I was it's white head feathers, then the dark body feathers, the bird was flying low to the ground and when I noticed it it was beginning to fly towards the trees. Realizing the white head feathers could mean it could be a Bald Eagle I then noticed the white tail feathers. I was driving and was approximately 25 yards from it, going towards it. It was on Hwy 17 & 170 about a half mile past the newly opened Savannah Wildlife Reserve heading towards Savannah.
