I was looking west out of our large living room window. We live on a hillside above the vineyards of Sonoma County. It appeared from the north heading south. I had a good 7 second look as it tilted towards me and came around. I was above it a bit, maybe 100 yards away. Magnificent!. There is no mistaking this beautiful creature. I just had to report it as we rarely see them around here.
