Number: 1

4/10/10 For the last 3 years about this time of year a whooping crane stops on the lake near our camp at the head waters of the Brule River in Iron County Mich. We saw our first gaggle of Geese flying over. The sandhill cranes have returned and we saw 2 snow geese fly over 3 weeks ago.
We've also had a Golden Eagle spend the summer near our camp. I witnessed it swimming in the river using what would be like our shoulders to do the breast stroke.
