Spring has arrived in Chicago! Our test garden contained 18 tulip bulbs. Each lab group planted a bulb per person. It's easy to tell which tulips were stepped on by the least amount of children; some are in great shape, and some are struggling to bloom.

We visited our test garden on Friday, April 9th, to find red buds preparing to bloom. Today, Tuesday the 13th, we went outside to see about 8 of our 18 tulips bloomed. Spring has surely arrived earlier than normal in Chicago - we love the warm temperatures!!
