Saw what appeared to be a male robin calling on the top of a spruce tree (was a little too far to confirm for sure whether it was male or female), but based on the frequency and intensity of calls, it sounded like a male calling for a mate. I then heard another robin calling back. The bird then flew off in the direction of the other call and I then heard them chatting back and forth for about 15 minutes or so.
