Good morning fellow bird watchers, cloudy today with rain on the way,70*.Have been working on garden, put in salvias(guaranitica black & blue, greggii flame and coccinea mesa scarlet),milkweed is finally showing.Think might have some coccinea red lady coming up from seed from last year.Still have a lot of work to do.Viburnum has leafed out and will bloom soon. All the fruit trees are in bloom, little bit of heaven on earth.Bumble bees and small butterflies flitting around.Have not seen hummingbirds or orioles yet, might be a couple more weeks before they arrive.Starlings(flying rats) have become a nuisance.Have stopped putting out suet, maybe they will go away.Good birding and gardening.
