Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/10/2010

Number: 1

Four colors of tulips visible in neighbor's slanted south facing yard today, which emerged about a week ago. A total of eight different plant species are already blooming in that garden, mostly low level ground plants. Season appears to be two weeks to a month ahead of last year in Minnesota for plant, animal and ice-out observations. One species, peregrine falcons,
are right on schedule for nesting, but have an extra egg or two this year visible on birdcams.
