Late in the afternoon, April 14th I saw a large Monarch flying N/E above my garden. Color looked to be a bit faded, but it looked intact. I was unable to identify male or female. It didn't settle to nectar where I could see it. Nectar plants in the garden now are lilacs, viburnums, azaleas.
