Yesterday was very warm and comparable to an early June day! Out of the corner of my eye I saw a black and gold flutter. Upon inspection, I said "Monarch"! But isn't it too early? One "not so good" witness was with me. He's my sweetheart and although very supportive of my love for nature, not interested in identification. So I am not 100%, so I went on the webiste to see if anyone else had reported? No one has. Please let me know if anyone has seen an adult Monarch? If it was not a Monarch what could it have been? Please advise...I need to give my sweetheart some credibility!
