The female was sighted first this year on 04/16/10. The male was sighted on 04/17/10; different than in 2009. The male appeared smaller than last year. Had a new feeder and he sat for a very long time drinking. That makes 2 that they can sit and drink on. Last year the praying mantis was a nuisance for the front yard feeder for the hummingbirds. Hopefully, that won't occur this year, at least for the hummingbirds. This year's sightings are later than last, but maybe just at my location.
