West Virginia Whites were out in force at Twiss
Road Escarpment woods in N. Burlington today. I estimate ~25.
They were nectaring on Spring Beauty andToothwort. This is my earliest
record by 11 days and that was 20 years ago. All the spring
wildflowers were in bloom; in addition to the above there were Blue
Cohosh, Hepatica, Bloodroot (past their peak!).
