We looked at our tulip garden after we came back from Spring vacation. All of our tulips have bloomed!! They are between 11" and 15" tall. Before vacation it was unusually hot, in the 90's. Last week and today it was springtime chilly, in the 50's. We wondered why some of our tulips had 2 flowers? We wonder why the pollen is purple? We wonder if our flowers will grow bigger or die? We wonder why the stigmas have 2, 3 or 4 points? We noticed that the inside of the tulip is wet and the outside is dry.
