Offshore sighting of a pair of Barn Swallows They circled the boat only one landed. The bird was fearless, friendly and allowed a finger pickup. It took up residence in my electronics box resting and appeared to sleep somewhat. It remained onboard approximately 1 hour until we pulled anchor to relocate. Subsequently, it returned to its partner who mostly circled our vessel during our entire encounter.
