Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/05/2010

Number: 1

We have a silk Wisteria right outside the front door. We first saw her building her nest in there around the first week of April. Funny that she has built her nest in a tree that's not real, but it's got great coverage and I'm sure she feels quite safe there. She has completely gotten used to us being right there and in and out of the front door. About a week or so later, I noticed that there were eggs in the nest. Today, Steven sent me a message that there are four eggs. I think the eggs are about 10 days or so old now. Can't wait for the babies! There is another Robin that is hanging around -- I don't know much about Robins, so I don't know if this is another girl or the Dad.
