I found 3 monarch butterflies at a tree at 6720 corpus christi drive.

the monarchs have been much scarcer this spring. Usually, I am able to get butterfly eggs to raise from milkweed in our garden, but this year our milkweed died with the late frost. I planted more, but we were unable to find Monarch eggs in our garden this year.

We have had some monarchs in the schoolyard though, probably because of our butterfly garden and also the milkweed in the woods next to us. I tried hard to make sure that it was monarchs that my students saw. I can verify the ones on our schoolyard after our initial mistaken sighting.
