Have had our fourth sighting on our Mallard Point Lake (north of Georgetown, KY) lake of 14 common loons today including a single male (apart from the group) who has been around most of the afternoon and evening and has vocalize a couple time which is hightly unusual to hear the common loon call when on our lake during their journy north. Seems lost or looking for a mate?? Any comments anyone?
