I am surprised how early my milkweed is up, but now I see that others are experiencing the same thing. Depending on the maturity (age) of individual plants, here's the scoop on my milkweed.

Swamp Milkweed--4 to 14" tall

Common Milkweed--3 to 11" tall

Butterflyweed--3" tall

Sullivant's milkweed--2" tall

Whorled milkweed--not up yet, but they're first year plants
