There it was at 5:45PM. I put up my feeders last Tuesday, the 20th and have been watching constantly. Last year we had our first one on the 25th of April and in 2008 our first one was on the 28th. I was sitting on our back deck a bit ago writing down what I plan to plant in my pots and whiskey barrels and all of a sudden I heard the familiar "buzzing" and looked up and there it came and stopped at the feeder. What a breath of fresh air after a dreary winter. Now I feel like spring is officially here.
