Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/23/2010

Number: 1

Our school butterfly garden has had 20 monarch caterpillars. I gathered them to protect them along with butterfly weed. They made their chrysalis, hatched, and were released in front of all our first and special ed classes last week. The students were thrilled! Now the cycle will continue. I noticed several more caterpillars in the garden just this morning(4/28/10).
