Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/29/2010

Number: 1

It is a fantastic day. I had begun to think my little hummers had forgotton where I lived! But at 10:07 this morning as I was watching my feeders a little Ruby Throated hummer flew up to my feeder and looked in my window as to say "I'm Here". I have had my feeder up on all four sides of my house for three weeks now and this is the first time any have been at the feeders. Now I can sit back and relax and watch my little friends. We live in the middle of a woods so they have a lot of room for nesting and shade so the nectar will not ferment as fast.
