We observed an adult Monarch at Harry Moss Park. We followed her and found a stalk of milkweed with two eggs on it.
It's the first one we've seen all year! We've been watching since late February. They seem to be very late this year. There is one field in Dallas where we always find them and they have just now shown up. We're so excited!
I saw that some folks had seen them in and around this area but we've been stopping by this field 2-3 times/week and waiting in expectation. :)
