The bird I believe was an eagle was seen today by me as the bird was flying over head. I saw it fly by (quite low) through my sunroof as I was turning to go into my drive way. (Note: We live one mile from Lake Ontario in the Braddocks Bay area well known as a migratory bird path....the bird may have been flying low because the there are two corn fields accross the street from my house.) I saw the underside of the bird quite clearly...very distinct white head/dark body with a very distinct seperation of colors. (I say this because we have alot hawks in the area which are "mixed" in color.) I also must note that there is an Osprey nest down the road from us. (1/4 mile) I am not sure if the underside of an Osprey can appear similar to an eagle but when I saw the bird I immediately exclaimed "an eagle!" Thanks, Christine
