This position is an approximation. The Monarch sighting occurred behind a rest area on a wooded edge. This a well kept rest area, the only one i know of in the area, on the south side of the highway. It is on Hwy 54, east of Hwy 99, Greenwood Co. The Monarch was seen at a distance, moving with vigor along the tree line and seemed to be in excellent shape. My FOY. Yeah!
