Some of the poplars are showing leaves. Weeds are flowering and dandelions are out. My neighbour has two tiger lillies in bloom.
The air smells different and it is becoming humid, especially in the evenings. Frogs are in full chorus now. The swallows have returned and are busy inspecting nest boxes. Some mosquitos are out but not biting ..yet.
A large pool of sand fleas are in the front yard this morning.
