Just 2 hours after placing grape jelly out & my orange halves I heard the familiar whistle announcing his arrival & sure enough he landed on my feeder for his snack. He was alone & he only stayed a minute or two. I have two feeders. One out by the tulip tree which they like best & one on the deck. My husband had heard him earlier & whipped me into action just in time. I am so glad!
