Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/04/2010

Number: 1

Due to the warmer than average temperature in April, I expected to see my first hummingbird earlier than usual.I have had a feeder out for about 2 weeks. While working in the garden, I paid close attention to the feeder. Today, I saw a male with a beautiful ruby throat flashing in the sun.I couldn't help but say "hello hummie!" So happy to see them back in Ohio after their long journey!
