Around 7:45 a.m. my husband saw an adult bald eagle at the edge of a farm field behind our house. It had caught what appeared to be a rabbit. It looked around for a couple of minutes, then took off with the rabbit in its talons. It was a thrilling sight! (We have only seen one other eagle in the wild at our location - in the fall of 2006.)
