First of year male Ruby-throated hummingbird at 6pm at my house. It came zooming over my head in the front yard as it was scoping out the back door patio feeder. It paused over the front yard feeder, then was gone. certain that it was a returnee, as it knew where the backdoor patio feeder was, which is a "secret" garden, hidden by tall bushes all around.
