Saw one male hummer drinking nectar from the feeder at about 7:50pm. Five minutes later, a second male showed up but was chased away from the feeder by the first male. Last year, and in previous years as well, I noticed the first hummingbirds back in our neighborhood in mid to late April. I wonder if an early spring might of held them up longer down south this season? At any rate, their long awaited arrival made my day!!
