I have finally heard the first catbirds, Baltimore Orioles and Wood Thrushes in the area and it's so good to hear them again!!I was working out in the garden when I heard these birds' songs!! I ESPECIALLY enjoy the Wood Thrush!! What a melody to listen to in the evening around dusk! I only wish they sang longer instead of during the breeding season in the Spring. Oh, and before I forget, the house wrens are back also and an energetic male is filling up my birdhouse with twigs for his nest! Spring is FINALLY here!!
