Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 05/05/2010

Number: 1

Two adult Monarchs seen flying and landing on spring flowers (azalea, wisteria, lilac), in gardens where Milkweed is up about 6-8 inches. It's early for Monarchs in this area, so the usual nectar flowers are not yet blooming. These butterflies were flying very fast, landing only briefly on the flowers. No eggs were found yet.
