A cold (40F), wet, miserable day up here, but I'm glad my feeder is out. Saw both an oriole and a hummer at it (not at the same time, but close). Couldn't see whether the hummer was male or female, but I hope it can find a safe haven until some warmth returns. Have heard there might be a frost tonight.
