First oriole sighting at 7:25 A.M. this morning. Same date as last year. 05/09/10. Oranges on deck rail. Oriole ate on three different oranges then flew to hummingbird feeder (have 7 hummingbird feeders out and two oriole feeders out in same area) He tried two hummingbird nectar feeders but did not go onto the oriole feeder. He then flew to tree where I have oranges and grape jam (used jam, was out of jelly) He ate jam for about 30 seconds, flew into the tree, then flew off.
