Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/07/2010

Number: 1

One week ago I spotted my first monarch of the season, a male, visiting the blooms on my milkweed. All week I checked my milkweed leaves for eggs, hoping females would soon follow. When I checked leaves this afternoon, all of my milkweed plants now have eggs on the undersides and topsides (unusual?) of the leaves. Go monarchs!
