A few weeks ago while doing yard work, I discovered a robins nest with an egg in it. From our kitchen window we were able to monitor the mother robin as she took care of her nest. As of today we saw activity in the nest. When mother bird returned to the nest the baby stuck up its beak waiting for the mother to feed it. After careful observations we recognize that the mother was constantly in and out of the nest trying to get food for the new-born baby. We will continue to monitor the nest carefully in the next few days.
