A beautiful monarch was sighted in our backyard, the day after we planted a butterfly garden!

I have been actively watching for Monarchs since I read about the need to plant milkweed for them (which we did); and the one we saw over the weekend was the first one we've seen. It was in great shape--bright and strong looking! Let's hope the weather has just delayed some of the butterflies' flight.
