I am really disappointed, I have seen one, and only one, weatherbeaten Monarch in my garden this whole year and its May. I feel a distinct loss, each weekend I am out watching for them but none stop by. I have plenty of milkweed plants which are all profusely blooming which, never happens usually because they are being eaten. I am not really on the northern migration path, but, I usually have overwintering monarchs. Is this normal this year?
