While walking in my extra lot next to my house around noon, I could not believe my eyes when a bright, fresh Monarch floated by me! My common milkweed plants are almost 24" tall .. so my afternoon will be spent looking for eggs! This is almost one months early for this area .. those STRONG south winds yesterday must have carried another wave in this direction! What a wonderful sight !
