An early evening arrival, a single male.
This arrival, when compared to previous seasons, is 8 days or more later than we have seen in past years!
The following morning, we knew the birds had come back because we were seeing multiple hummingbirds at the feeder.... including females. Also, our next-door neighbor had their first hummingbird sighting of the season today.
The hummingbirds are back, we've decided! And not just passing through.
