I put our feeder out two weeks ago. We watched diligently for one week. On Mother's Day with 4 inches of snow, we saw our first ruby-throated male. I don't know if he was here last year, but we called him the "sitter" because he sits and drinks for a long time. I believe he may be the same one. He comes daily now, enjoying our feeder admist the goldfinch, juncos, chickadees, etc. that find our feeders.
