Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/16/2010

Number: 1

The first Female Hummingbird in my garden, this season, was sipping nectar from my native honeysuckle that I planted especially for hummigbirds last year. What a joy! She rested for a while on the trellis in the vegetable garden, went for another drink in the vine, and flew to the Witch hazel and finally left. It happened at noon and it was a sunny day with blue sky. A perfect day!
