We rarely have Spring migrating RT Hummingbirds visit us. Last year for example we had a lone male pass through in early june and that was it. However, our migrants heading south have been increasing at a high rate, so my husband and I believe that might help us have more that pass our way since they remember this "spot".
We currently have a female that has been here since early evening on the 18th. She could have been in the area a bit longer since it looks like she has a nest mark on her belly...WooHoo! Since we are not technically in the "breeding" zone, that's AWESOME! Time will tell...
