I went to Derby Hill on the south shore of Lake Ontario at mid-day to check on the Red Admiral movement and from 11:30 to noon I had 207 move past my vantage point in the middle of the first field. For the next 90 minutes I moved closer to the road (and lakeshore) where I counted 2408 Red Admirals moving by.
