Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/20/2010

Number: 1

Margert spotted our first monarch yesterday (5/20) at Thickson's Woods. Lots of red admirals, American painted ladies and common sulphurs on the move. Eastern commas seem more common this spring than last, but mourning cloaks seem less common in the area.
