Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/28/2010

Number: 1

Monarch was moving from place to place on the sand & water edge of birdbath.

I observe a lot. But I don't normally see many Monarchs very often. Mostly, I see numbers of them during the fall migration. I'm North of Bastrop in what used to be farm land, but now most of the pastures have been developed. Therefore, we don't have the milkweeds anymore.

After I saw the one Monarch, I saw 2 more fluttering together. They were definitely very bright colored.
