This adult Monarch was in fairly good condition, lazily flying under the hydro line, just north of the viewing platform lookout along the gravel screenings trail which follows the new Durham Region water line where the old closed road used to be. After a bit of unsettled weekend weather, the sun was shining providing a beautiful day and a beautiful butterfly!
